REC Tracking Systems

Clean Power Markets, Inc.

Clean Power Markets, Inc. was founded in 2000 by nationally recognized experts in energy markets and renewable generation. Since then, Clean Power Markets has provided the infrastructure at the wholesale level for the renewable power market to accurately track and verify green power transactions for compliance with renewable portfolio standards; green (or renewable) energy trades in regulated and deregulated electricity markets; and electricity disclosure requirements by states, regions, or green-e.

Green-e

Green-e Energy is the nation’s leading independent certification and verification program for renewable energy. This voluntary consumer-protection program verifies superior, certified renewable energy options offered by utilities and marketers in the retail market. Three types of renewable energy options are eligible for Green-e Energy certification: Competitive Electricity Products, Utility Green Pricing Programs, and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).

North American Renewable's Registry

The North American Renewables Registry provides an easy-to-use, Web-based platform trusted to create, track, and manage renewable energy certificate (REC) origination for clean generation facilities located in states not covered by one of the existing regional tracking systems.

The Environmental Resources Trust (ERT) - EcoPower® Program

The EcoPower® Program catalyzes the market for clean energy by substantiating and marketing blocks of power that include new renewable sources of energy and have significantly reduced environmental impacts.
