Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE)

CARE is a joint industry-government effort to increase the amount of recycling and reuse of post-consumer carpet and reduce the amount of waste carpet going to landfills. CARE was established as a result of a national agreement signed by members of the carpet industry, representatives of government agencies at the federal, state and local levels, and non-governmental organizations.


Commercial Buildings Initiative

A public/private consortium, developing and delivering the technology, policies, and practices to achieve a market transition to Zero Net Energy Commercial Buildings by 2030.


Energy & Environmental Building Association (EEBA)

To provide education and resources to transform the residential design, development and construction industries to profitably deliver energy efficient and environmentally responsible buildings and communities.

 

Florida Green Building Coalition

The Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC) is a nonprofit Florida corporation dedicated to improving the built environment. Our mission is "to provide a statewide green building program with environmental and economic benefits."

Green Building Alliance

The Green Building Alliance is a non-profit organization that advances economic prosperity and human well being in Western Pennsylvania by driving market demand for green buildings and green building products.

 

International Initiative for Sustainable Built Development (iiSBE)

iiSBE is an international non-profit organization whose overall aim is to actively facilitate and promote the
adoption of policies, methods and tools to accelerate the movement towards a global sustainable built
environment.

 

Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC)

The Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC) is an independent, non-profit trade association that seeks to dramatically improve the long-term performance and value of buildings through our outreach, advocacy and education programs. The Council has five regular programs that center around specific building types and several Beyond GreenTM projects including our annual Beyond GreenTM Awards Program and our high-performance building advocacy program.


US Green Building Council

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit trade organization that promotes sustainability in how buildings are designed, built and operated. The USGBC is best known for the development of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system and Greenbuild, a green building conference that promotes the green building industry, including environmentally responsible materials, sustainable architecture techniques and public policy.


World Green Building Council RSS Hyperlink

The World Green Building Council is a union of national councils whose mission is to accelerate the transformation of the global built environment towards sustainability. The current member nations of the WorldGBC represent over 50 percent of global construction activity, and touch more than 15,000 companies and organizations worldwide.
